The doubles court, and cheery American Jack Sock, bring the smile back to Vasek Pospisil’s face

WIMBLEDON – There hasn't been a whole lot to smile about lately in Canadian Vasek Pospisil's tennis career.

But on the court at Wimbledon in his first-round match, with partner Jack Sock, Pospisil was all smiles.

Part of it was that they were winning easily, an eventual 6-3, 6-2, 6-3 victory over Robin Haase and Jesse Huta Galung of the Netherlands (Haase defeated Pospisil in the first round of singles). Part of it had to be the happy-go-lucky Sock, who might have an impressive potty mouth on court but is overall a pretty easy-peasy guy to be around.

Next up on Saturday – weather permitting – will be the No. 8 seeds, Rohan Bopanna of India and Aisam Qureshi of Pakistan.

That might not be quite as much fun. But hopefully the smiles will stay.
