Canadiens’ P.K. Subban takes the ice-bucket challenge to new … depths

A dump truck full of cold water and 60 bags of ice was how Canadiens' star defenceman P.K. Subban met the ice bucket challenge put to him by, among others, team general manager Marc Bergevin.

The jockstrap on the outside of the pants was a nice touch.

He did this live on television, too, on City News's 6 p.m. broadcast Friday.

Subban then laid out the challenge in turn to Phil Kessel, rapper Drake, and Canadiens owner Geoff Molson.

Bergevin has already done his part, with the help of mascot Youppi! and a rather more restrained quantity of liquid:

It's possible this thing will never end – until someone goes WAY too far in trying to top previous challenges and drowns, or something.

In case you've been enjoying the fun without realizing why, the ice bucket challenge is to raise awareness for ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.
