Streaker at BMO Field gets tackled by Argos player during home opener

The CFL season opener between the Toronto Argonauts and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats had everything on Thursday night: a tailgating party, a raucous crowd in the stands of the refurbished BMO Field and even a pair of streakers.

During the second half, the game was interrupted when a half-naked man took to the field. While security walked onto the pitch immediately, the bare-chested fan actually made it end zone to end zone undisturbed before being hauled away.

Then moments later, as security's hands were tied with streaker No. 1, another shirtless man began roaming the grass undeterred as the players stood around aimlessly, the delay a minute old by now.

Finally, likely fed up with the unnecessary stoppage, a pair of Argos walked toward the streaker at mid-field, pushing him to the sidelines, before Argos defensive back Matt Black tackled the attention-seeker to the ground. Here's guessing the few minutes of fame was not worth the bruising sure to occur after that takeout. Ouch.
