    Barn fire near Waterford causes $1 million in damage

    Bales of hay made for potent kindling inside a barn near Waterford that was completely destroyed by fire on Friday. First responders got to the blaze on Concession 11 Townsend in Norfolk County around 3:40 p.m. to find the barn “fully engulfed” by flames, deputy fire chief Jeff Smith said in an email.
