End game set for Harris
Everything is now in place for elite power forward Tobias Harris to visit the remaining schools on his list and have a decision by the final day of the early signing period.
Having already visited Syracuse, Tennessee and Kentucky, Harris has visit dates set for Louisville, West Virginia, Maryland and Georgia Tech.
Expecting to play in the finals of the IS8 tournament on November 1, Harris will travel to Louisville for a visit immediately after the game according to his father Torrel Harris.
Then the weekend of November 7 they will travel to West Virginia. The following weekend they will visit Maryland with a final visit to Georgia Tech scheduled for November 16 and 17 following the Maryland visit.
The plan is then for Harris, 6-foot-8, 220-pounds from Glen Head (N.Y.) Half Hollow Hills West High School, to sign on November 18 and then make a public announcement on November 19.
Harris is the No. 5 ranked prospect in the Rivals150.
Tobias Harris scouting report:
Still physically developing, Harris has an advanced skill level as a hybrid forward. He handles the ball at a high level and can score it with touch from the outside and also score inside with more of a power game. Best suited to guard a four man, Harris is a difficult match up for opposing four men with his versatile skill set.
