Serena Williams wins WTA Championships title
DOHA (AFP) - Serena Williams won the WTA Championships title here on Sunday beating sister Venus, the defending champion, 6-2, 7-6 (7/4) in the final.
It was Serena's second year-end title, and 35th in her career, to follow her win in 2001. It was also her 13th victory in 23 matches against her sister.
