Thierry Henry Set For Barcelona Return Against Mallorca - Report
Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola looks set to recall Thierry Henry to the starting XI for Saturday night's match with Mallorca, despite rumours of a rift between the two.
Sport believe that Henry will start alongside Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Lionel Messi in attack. With the exception of a brief appearance in midweek against Rubin Kazan, the 32-year-old has not appeared for the Blaugrana since picking up an injury against Malaga at the end of September.
The Frenchman's reintroduction will allow Andres Iniesta to fall back into central midfield alongside Xavi, while Guardiola is still mulling over the choice between Sergio Busquets and Yaya Toure for the defensive midfield role.
Dmytro Chygrynskiy is also being tipped to play from the outset alongside either Carles Puyol or Gerard Pique, with Dani Alves and Eric Abidal starting in the full-back slots.
The Blaugrana kick-off against fifth-placed Mallorca at 20:00 CET, looking to establish a four point advantage over Real Madrid before they play their derby match with Atletico Madrid.
