No Napoli Switch Agreed For Liverpool’s Andrea Dossena - Agent
Andrea Dossena's agent Roberto La Florio has downplayed rumours his client is on his way to Napoli.
The Liverpool stopper has been linked with the Azzurri, and reports around the Italian papers on Wednesday claimed a move could go ahead in January.
La Florio has stepped back from the reports, though he appeared keen to open up dialogue with the Partenopei.
"We are waiting for the international break to talk with Andrea," the agent told Tuttomercatoweb.com.
"One thing is for sure, we have not made any agreement, but I don't know if the clubs have spoken."
La Florio claims Dossena, who is recovering from a muscular injury, is ready to leave Anfield.
"Andrea wants his chance to play at the World Cup. Napoli are doing well and it would be a welcome move for him," concluded the agent.
