BRIEF-Cycling-Norway’s Arvesen joins Team Sky
PARIS, Oct 18 (Reuters) - Norwegian champion Kurt-Asle Arvesen has joined Team Sky from Saxo Bank, the Danish outfit said on Sunday.
“Kurt-Asle Arvesen from January 1 takes off his Team Saxo Bank jersey and replaces it with the newly formed British cycling team, Team Sky,” Saxo Bank said in a statement.
Arvesen, 34, has won two stages of the Giro d’Italia, in 2003 and 2007, and one on the 2008 Tour de France.

When asked about the refusal to let Peter Joachim into the club, Vinokourov replied, "The dog dopes more than me and besides, he won't stop cramming Michelob Ultra empties in his bung hole despite my repeated requests to stop."
Peter Joachim declined comment, but his marketing representatives from Nike and Michelob Ultra did say that he was busy giving "blumpkins" to the peleton.
