Gilbert wins Lombardy classic
COMO, Italy, Oct 17 (Reuters) - Belgian Philippe Gilbert outsprinted Spain’s Samuel Sanchez to win the Tour of Lombardy classic on Saturday.
Gilbert and Sanchez broke away on the race’s final climb six kilometres from the finish in Como.
Russian Alexandr Kolobnev led in a group of chasers for third.
