Armstrong’s RadioShack team gets ProTour license
AIGLE, Switzerland (AP)—Lance Armstrong’s new team has been given permission to race in many of cycling’s top events for the next four years.
The International Cycling Union said on Friday that it has granted Team RadioShack a license to compete in ProTour races for the 2010-13 seasons. The team still needs an invitation to race in next year’s Tour de France and Giro d’Italia.
The season-long ProTour series includes one-day classics such as the Amstel Gold Race in the Netherlands and Belgium’s Tour of Flanders, plus stage races such as the Dauphine Libere in France and Switzerland’s Tour de Romandie.
Armstrong rode for the Kazakh-backed Astana roster when he finished third in this year’s Tour. He announced afterward that he was leaving to create his own team.

PARIS (AP)—There is something fishy about the latest incident about former circus rider and doping apologist Peter Joachim.
In a incident still under investigation, Police and paramedics responded to a emergency call to Peter Joachim's home late yesterday and found a strange sight.
Peter Joachim was found unconscious with a syringe stuck in his rectum. "We are not sure if this was the result of an accident or a publicity stunt gone bad." according to a French judicial official who was happy to brief reporters about the incident but not to be identified by name.
"We would like to think Mr. Joachim was in the process of treating his severe case of road rash on his buttocks when this incident took place, but we are not one hundred percent sure this is the case." said Gerard Guillaume, a doctor treating Joachim.
This is the latest scandal regarding Peter Joachim.
Peter Joachim's cycling career has been in jeopardy for quite sometime now. He has failed numerous out of competition drug tests and spent two years in prison for stalking former professional road bicycle racer Greg LeMond. He was recently fired by his team for testing positive in yet another drug test.
Peter Joachim is already banned from racing in the State of Israel for being a Holocaust denier.

Peter Joachim is a writer for L'Equipe. He gets orders from ASO and AFLD to go on every single blog for cycling in the world to spread lies and inuendo about Lance Armstrong and other NON-FRENCH Cyclists and their unfounded, unproven doping activities. Meanwhile he has been instructed not to attack the biggest Doper in the Tour History--Richard Virenque who is a frenchman and got caught redhanded.

I think you are on to something...the"liar and fraud" known as "Peter Joachim" IS a disgruntled, former rider.
Unfortunately, he is NOT Benoit Joachim.
"Peter Joachim" is really Petereater Jackov, the famous Russian clown/eunicyclist.
He was thrown out of the Moscow Circus for acts of beastiality and pedophelia. Petereater Jackov is currently serving a life sentence in a Siberian prison. He is a convicted pedophile and a confirmed Michelob Ultra drinker (and loves to plunge the empties in/out of his A N u S).

The only thing Lance has been truly wrong about? That I know of anyway? It IS about the bike! I know I know. But still, it is about the bike & no one in this country has gotten people out on the road, trail or local bike path like Lance. The bucks going to cancer research are the best reason to support all of YOUR american riders.

Please accept my sincerest apologies for battling Peter Joachim in this cycling forum and helping to ruin Yahoo! Cycling. Please understand that I enjoy pro cycling and like to read comments here, but I hate Peter Joachim and have been very successful at annoying the F out of him.
