Groomedforvictory wins Big A’s Study Hard Stakes

NEW YORK (AP)—Groomedforvictory beat Naughty New Yorker by 3 lengths Sunday in the $67,000 Study Hard Stakes for New York breds at Aqueduct.

Groomedforvictory moved to the front on the turn and pulled clear of the pack at the top of the stretch. Trained by Barclay Tagg, the 6-5 favorite extended his winning streak to three by running one mile in 1:36.74 with Ramon Dominguez aboard.

Groomedforvictory paid $4.40, $3 and $2.30. Naughty New Yorker returned $6.30 and $3.90, and Almighty Silver paid $5.10 to show.

    If these 2 stay in New York all winter, it's gonna be a parade of short priced winners, and still 7 weeks until Gulfstream Park........SIGH!!!!
