Following a 4-2 loss in Washington on Oct. 27, Flyers coach John Stevens canceled a scheduled day off and skated his players until their legs burned. He made it clear that day his team would need to earn its days off.

Since then, the Flyers have won four in a row and—you guessed it—were given a day off Sunday.

"We have had a lot of practices lately," joked Scott Hartnell, who has four goals in his last five games.

The Flyers' four-game win streak has inched them closer to division rivals Penguins, Devils and Rangers in the Atlantic Division standings. All three teams have played more games than the Flyers' 14.

Pyorala scored in the shootout to lead the Philadelphia Flyers to a 2-1 victory over the St. Louis Blues on Saturday night. Pyorala's goal in the fourth round was the difference as the Flyers won their fourth consecutive game.
