Dwayne Roloson picked the perfect night to set a career high and team record for saves in one game.

Roloson's absurd 58-stop show in a 4-3 overtime win Monday in Toronto sent the Islanders home from a successful seven-game road trip (3-2-2) on the highest of high notes.

Upon returning to practice Tuesday on Long Island, the Isles also were expected to be boosted by the return to practice for the first time this season of former All-Star goalie Rick DiPietro, who hasn't appeared in a game since January because of multiple surgeries on his right knee.

DiPietro, in the fourth season of a whopping 15-year contract, resumed skating on his own in late August, but the Islanders have restricted the often injured goalie to a stringent rehabilitation program.
