    Such a great hit in fact, that the NHL suspended Ott for 2 games. I love hockey and its great hits. But there is a line. Ott is like Avery and doesn't know where to draw it.

    You all need to teach your player that when a hip check is coming which is LEGAL. Do not try and be a dumbass and jump. Move like almost 90% of the pansy players in this league do daily. Geez guys next thing you fans will want to do is outlaw checking. Maybe next we will put on tights , and small skirts and call it the greatest pansy sport on ice. Your killing the game , stop whining and treat the hit as when your player does it. I have seen fans cry one wya then act as if its clean and a great hit when their player does it. Now shut up and watch the game and yes its a rough game. Thats why its called hockey.

    if you recall, fox, crombeen attacked ott after a hit. the hit may have been questionable, and Ott took the penalty for it, but crombeen was a clear instigator. Stop whining.

    I am not concerned about the slow start of the Blue note, and even less concerned about Dallas. While the Blues have had a ruff start they have also shown some extended periods of exceptional play. The talent is there and it will all come together. Last nights refs were truly sad and it's my hope that the NHL looks into this,

    The Stars are totally against bad calls. Just look at our Stanley Cup Championship from 1999! Brett Hull was totally outside of the crease!!

    Jon, so you are saying you are ok with bad calls? Would you be saying the same thing if the calls were against Dallas and the Blues won the game 4-1? This game was an embarrassment to the refs that take the game seriously.

    its called Karma, because the Stars got jobbed by the refs against the kings, and we still came back to get the point. We will carry the Mo from that game all year. Be afraid, the stars are young and hungry. when was the last time we said that as a stars fan.

    Someone needs to put a stick in Ott's eye, all the decent players are at the mercy of these cheap shot artists like Ott and never give it back. Bring up some minor league thug to go after the guy, pay the fine and get that guy out of the game. Should have done the same thing to Bertuzzi the next game he played on the ice.

    Hey Jon, if "y'all" watched the game you would have seen that the Blues were beaten by the refs. NHL needs to discipline the officials who were clearly on the Stars side today.

    I'm surprised that they didn't mention some of the bad calls by the refs..... Pietrangelo gets two roughing calls on one play. Jansen gets a 10 minutes misconduct but later Ott doesn't get anything but a tripping call on his attack on Crombeen. I just think there were some obvious discrepancies in the refs calls tonight.
