RW Jonathan Cheechoo was dropped to the fourth line and played just 8:51, the least amount of time of any Senator. Cheechoo, who has spent most of the season alongside playmaker Jason Spezza, has no goals and two assists while playing in all 13 games thus far.

Cheechoo was skating on Ottawa's fourth line at Thursday morning's practice reports the club's official Twitter feed.
Recommendation: Cheechoo has had a very slow start to the season having notched only two assists in 12 games to go along with a minus-3 rating. He was given every opportunity to start the season as a top 6 forward but has done nothing to justify staying there. If you thought Cheechoo simply needed a change of scenery to get back to being an elite goal scorer, you are sorely mistaken. Until he does something offensively, Cheechoo will be buried on either the third or fourth line in Ottawa.
