The Flyers are hoping that Briere (groin) will skate on Tuesday, the Philadelphia Daily News reports. Recommendation: He obviously won't play in Monday's game against Tampa Bay, but the Flyers are optimistic about his recovery. Further, it appears that Briere's injury isn't related to the groin and abdominal trouble the plagued him last season. It sounds like there's a chance that Briere could be back in action within the next week. |
