Coyotes recall Kevin Porter from AHL
GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP)—The Phoenix Coyotes recalled forward Kevin Porter(notes) from their AHL affiliate in San Antonio on Tuesday.
Porter currently leads San Antonio with 10 goals and 14 assists in 27 games. He has played in two games for Phoenix this season but had no points.
Porter, the 2008 Hobey Baker Award winner as a senior at Michigan, had five goals and five assists in 34 games for Phoenix as a rookie last season. He was a fourth-round pick of the Coyotes in the 2004 draft.
