    too much involvement by the league... these issues used to be policed by the players, now the fear of "an eye for an eye" is trumped by the fear of the Commissioner, and mets1623 in favor of it, as the game spirals downward.

    You've got to be kidding Cal, maybe they should be allowed to beat each other across the benches and NOT get suspended. Way to go.

    But Avery farted in O'Brien's direction, so he should get a game suspension too. No penalties were issued.
