There can be no mention of the 1996 classic movie "Swingers" in a hockey discussion without bringing up the famous scene where Trent plays Sue in NHL '93 and makes video Wayne Gretzky's head bleed.
(The Kings are a finesse team, don't forget.)
Via our pals at Hugging Harold Reynolds comes Jeremy Roenick(notes) playing the role of Sue -- right down to the No. 99 Los Angeles Kings jersey -- playing out the one scene from "Swingers" that's etched itself into the hearts of puck heads everywhere (some NSFW language):
Roenick, of course, is a video game Hall of Famer, so much so that in 2008 he was named the fourth-best video game athlete of all time by IGN.
He's so legendary that you can find plenty of EA Sports NHL tributes to him on YouTube these days because it's not so much as you as it's Roenick. He's good.
