After weeks of HBO hype and one big schedule change due to the weather, it's time for the 2011 NHL Winter Classic from Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, as Sidney Crosby (notes) faces off against Alex Ovechkin (notes) with an undercard featuring the Pittsburgh Penguins taking on the Washington Capitals.

Please join the usual gang of Puck Daddy knuckleheads and friends of the blog as we break down the game, the NBC coverage, the commercials, the coaches' fashion sense and the various forces of nature that have made this Classic perhaps the most chaotic yet.
