Bit of an up and down night for Colton Orr(notes) of the Toronto Maple Leafs at the Pittsburgh Penguins on Wednesday. The up: Scoring his first of the season at 5:18 of the first period, on a deflection in front of Marc-Andre Fleury(notes). The down: This fight with the Penguins' Deryk Engelland(notes), in which Orr may have won on points but Engelland scored the KO.
Orr didn't return after hitting his head on the ice. (Note: This was posted after two periods in Pittsburgh).
As for Engelland, his effort made tweeting pugilist Paul Bissonnette(notes) opine:
Heard engelland knocked out Orr? Played with engelland in Wilkes barre for 3 seasons. He is undercover top 10 toughest guys in the NHL. I would watch him pump guys in the Ahl. Scary man that Derek.
Scary indeed. But not scary enough to make SallyCat care about the scrap:
Can't believe SallyCat has become blasé about hockey fights. Or that you can actually find this stuff on YouTube.
