Michael Roos handles his business quietly. Even after signing a new six-year, $43 million deal, the left tackle didn't start bragging to his fellow Tennessee linemen. LenDale White gained a lot of credibility with the Titans last season for showing toughness and playing through a variety of nicks en rout to a 16-start, 1,110-yard season.
He had a knee scope after the season was over, but Jeff Fisher sold it as a standard maintenance procedure. But at a recent OTA practice session, White indicated things were worse than he and the team let on.
According to White, he played the entire 2007 season with a torn meniscus after injuring it in the preseason.
"I played with it all season," White said. "Contrary to what people believe, I am a soldier. I played on it all year and I didn't complain, not once. I waited until the season was over to get it fixed and now it is fixed and I'm feeling good. ...More |
