Seattle Seahawks new offensive line coach Mike Solari has been very muted about some of the changes he may make along a front that was at times in tatters last season.

But offensive guard Rob Sims recently revealed that Solari has been attempting to implement a zone blocking scheme that should allow for the offensive front to be exposed less, as it was last season.

"Last year, we did a lot of man-on-man stuff," Sims said. "This year, we're doing more zone stuff, and that's what (the players) wanted to do last year anyway.

"In the NFL, you're going against the best of the best. When you're man-on-man every single snap, you can get beat. It's one of those things where, if you've got five guys going man-on-man, they're more likely to get beat."

Seahawks linebacker Lofa Tatupu entered a plea of not guilty Tuesday to charges of driving under the influence of alcohol. Tatupu appeared before Kirkland Municipal Court Judge Michael J. Lambo, but did not speak. His attorney, Jon Fox, told the judge his client would plead not guilty. After the hearing, Fox told reporters that Tatupu would not make a statement or answer questions.
