JaMarcus Russell just laughed when he heard reports that his weight had ballooned to more than 300 pounds in the offseason. Michael Bush insists he is too caught up in the goal of actually taking the field to concern himself with his role in the Raiders' backfield in 2008. Except for a three-week window of practice during last year's regular season, after which he was not activated and remained on the Physically Unable to Perform list, Bush's participation in the Raiders' rookie minicamp amounted to a long-awaited debut. Since he was never on the 53-man roster last season, Bush was eligible to join the Raiders' draft class and undrafted rookies, even though he spent last season with the team.
