Randy Lange, of NewYorkJets.com, reports the New York Jets will open their 2008 training camp at Hofstra University. The first practice will be Thursday, July 24, at the school's soccer stadium. Practices will be open to the public and the media. Rookies begin their orientation eight days earlier. Quarterbacks and injured veterans show up Sunday, July 20.
