The lone voice of conspiracy working to keep the NFL's Spygate scandal an open investigation seems to finally be letting go of the issue as Republican Pennsylvania Senator Arlen Specter said last week that he will not ask his fellow members of Congress to become involved at this point.

While Specter had previously alluded to Congressional hearings as a possibility at times throughout his vocal part in the Spygate saga, particularly after meeting with former Patriots video assistant Matt Walsh in May, he said in a recent meeting with the Philadelphia Daily News editorial board that is no longer the case.
