Notes: Already with a potent passing attack, the Saints selected Tennessee wide receiver Robert Meachem with the 27th pick in the first round. The 6-3, 211-pound Meachem enjoyed a breakout year last season, leading the Volunteers with 71 catches for 1,298 yards and 11 touchdowns. The Saints selected Kent State cornerback Usama Young in the second round. |
