New England Patriots running back Sammy Morris(notes) has been out since Week 6 when he exited the game against the Tennessee Titans with a torn medial-collateral ligament.
At the time, it wasn't clear just how bad the tear was, but as he continues to miss game after game, it appears that it wasn't tiny. Now it's looking like Morris will be out for two more weeks and won't be back in action till Week 11 against the New York Jets, according to the Boston Herald.
The longer he takes to get back, the slower coach Bill Belichick will be about working him into the lineup.
