Owens, Romo point finger at Garrett for failed offense
The season is over, and Tony Romo and Terrell Owens, the two biggest stars of the Cowboys' offense, have a message for offensive coordinator Jason Garrett:
Make some changes.
Both players talked about what the offense wasn't doing following an embarrassing loss to Philadelphia at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday, the Dallas Morning News reported.
Owens talked about diversity and getting playmakers the ball.
Romo questioned the scheme and said the offense needed to make adjustments when defenses do.
"They exposed us," Romo said of the Eagles. "It's something that we do fundamentally offensively, and so give them credit."
The Cowboys finished the season averaging 344.5 yards per game and 5.6 yards per play.
Last season, the Cowboys averaged 365.7 yards per game and 6.0 yards per play.
That's part of the reason the Cowboys finished 13-3.
This season, the Cowboys will miss the playoffs with a 9-7 record.
