Ed Bouchette, of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, reports Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger has been named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week for his Week 5 performance. He went 26-for-41 for 309 yards and three touchdowns in the game.

Roethlisberger was 26-of-41 for 309 yards, three touchdowns and an interception in the Steelers' win over Jacksonville on Sunday.
Advice: Roethlisberger was questionable entering the weekend because of a shoulder injury he suffered in the opening week, but it doesn't seem to be affecting him much as he's led the Steelers to a 4-1 start. The three touchdowns were a season high.

QB Ben Roethlisberger got the day off Tuesday as Byron Leftwich took his snaps in practice. One-third of Roethlisberger's 124 pass attempts came in Jacksonville and he has been sacked 18 times.
