Vikings WR Berrian active despite hamstring
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP)—Wide receiver Bernard Berrian(notes) is active for the Minnesota Vikings despite a nagging hamstring injury, giving Brett Favre(notes) one of his top targets against his former team.
As expected, cornerback Antoine Winfield(notes) was inactive for the Vikings because of a right foot injury.
Tight end Jermichael Finley(notes) was inactive for the Packers with a knee injury. Finley caught 6 passes for 128 yards and a touchdown in the Packers’ 30-23 loss at Minnesota Oct. 5.
The Packers will be without center Jason Spitz(notes) because of a lower back injury, but left tackle Chad Clifton(notes) was active despite a nagging right ankle injury and was listed in the starting lineup. A pair of the Packers’ midseason veteran signings, offensive lineman Mark Tauscher(notes) and running back Ahman Green(notes), were active for Green Bay in reserve roles.
