Chiefs activate RB Kolby Smith, release WR Engram
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP)—The Kansas City Chiefs have activated running back Kolby Smith(notes) off the physically unable to perform list just in time to use him in Sunday at Jacksonville.
Smith underwent knee surgery that shelved him for the last eight games of 2008. He will help replace starting running back Larry Johnson(notes), who was suspended for one game for conduct detrimental to the team.
Since being drafted in the fifth round in 2007, Smith has appeared in 23 games and gained 507 yards on 147 carries.
Also Saturday, the Chiefs released wide receiver Bobby Engram(notes). He played in five games, catching five passes for 61 yards.

Also if you switch from the Chiefs to the Broncos as Fudd has, do you really count as a fan? I'm sure the Broncos faithful are embarrassed to have you in their ranks.

fudd, go ahead. If you can root for the Donkeys, you bever were a real fan anyway. It's easy to be a fan of the teams that are doing well. It's easy to be a good coach when you inherit better talent than Haley did. And anyone with a grain of knowledge about football can go down position by position and see how much better the talent was in Denver. Hopefully you'll never by any Chief's stuff again. We don't like phonies.

I think the Chiefs getting these NE rejects (and yes I agree they are rejects) is saying something about what Herm and Peterson did here the last couple of years. Rejects from ANY team is better than the crap that we have now.

I don't see Denver stockpiling NE's rejects.
Go Chiefs!
