Colts linebacker Hagler out for season
INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana (AFP) - The unbeaten Indianapolis Colts will be without Tyjuan Hagler(notes) for the rest of the National Football League season after the starting linebacker suffered a ruptured biceps.
Colts coach Jim Caldwell said Hagler, who was fourth on the team with 36 tackles, was placed on injured reserve Wednesday.
Second-year linebacker Philip Wheeler(notes) and undrafted rookie Ramon Humber(notes) were expected to replace Hagler.
The Colts will also promote rookie linebacker Cody Glenn(notes) to the active roster from the practice squad.
