1. Which country has won the most world junior titles?

Answer: B — Canada has won 15 world junior titles, just two more than the Soviet Union/Russia. No other country comes close to the hockey powerhouses. The United States is third with just three titles, all coming in the past decade.

2. Which player has won the most world junior titles?

Answer: A — Jason Botterill won gold medals as a left-winger for Canada in 1994, 1995 and 1996. He is the only player in WJHC history to win three titles. Yevgeni Belosheikin and Alexander Semak both won two golds and a bronze with the Soviets, while Dmitri Yushkevich earned a gold and two silvers with Russia.

3. Who has the most points in world junior history?

Answer: A — Peter Forsberg had a total of 42 points — 10 goals and 32 assists — in the 1992 and 1993 tournaments. Eric Lindros has the most career points of any Canadian in the WJHC with 12 goals and 19 assists, good for eighth all-time.
