WHL Roundup: Lee stops 33 shots as the Giants down the last-place Blazers

KAMLOOPS, B.C. - Payton Lee allowed the game's first shot to get past him, but then stopped the next 33, as the Vancouver Giants knocked off the host Kamloops Blazers 4-1 on Sunday in Western Hockey League play.

Aspen Sterzer scoring six seconds into the game for Kamloops, but it was all Vancouver after that.

Carter Popoff and Brett Kulak scored before the first period finished for the Giants (4-9-2) while Jackson Houck and Tim Traber struck in the second period.

Bolton Pouliot stopped 43 shots for the Blazers (4-10-1), who dropped their fourth straight game.

Vancouver went 1 for 7 on the power play while Kamloops failed to score on three chances with the man advantage.
