Watch hockey legend Slava Fetisov rap in Russian group's music video
Slava Fetisov has accomplished many things in life. He’s won gold at the Olympics, World Championships, World Junior Championships, and the Canada Cup representing the Soviet Union, and lifted the Stanley Cup three times playing with the Detroit Red Wings and coaching with the New Jersey Devils.
But now the Hockey Hall of Famer can add something unique to his already impressive resume.
He’s a rapper.

In preparation for the 2017 World Championship earlier this month, pop group SOPRANO threw their support behind the Russian National Team by covering the famous Soviet song, “No Coward Plays Hockey.”
For their video, the group called on Fetisov and Russian sports commenter Dmitry Guberniev to help them out. Guberniev calls the hockey game featured in the shoot, while Fetisov spit hot fire.
Here are Fetisov’s roughly translated lyrics:
“As I played hockey for a great country,
I was ready to tear any opponent on the ice,
And you must be strong, take an example from me,And become a legend of the new, I became once I
Dream for hockey – Olympic podium,
And he will win in this battle, who was the best.”
