    Troy comes back, beats Arkansas State 74-67 in OT

    TROY, Ala. (AP) -- Emil Jones scored 16 points and knocked down a 3-pointer with 2 seconds left in regulation to tie, and Troy claimed a 74-67 overtime victory over Arkansas State on Thursday night.

    Jones made four free throws and Hunter Williams hit a 3-pointer in overtime for the Trojans (8-12, 3-6 Ohio Valley Conference), who snapped a two-game losing streak.

    Antoine Myers scored 13 points, Williams had 12 points and Tevin Calhoun 10 for Troy.

    Cameron Golden led Arkansas State (11-8, 5-5) with 18 points, Brandon Peterson had 15 points and 12 rebounds, Ed Townsel added 14 points and Raeford Worsham 12.

    Trailing 33-26 at halftime, Troy led 44-40 at 10:30, but Arkansas State grabbed a 55-48 lead with 6:10 to go. Troy didn't catch up until Jones' jumper made it 61-all.

    Troy led 63-61 on Josh Warren's layup 1:09 into overtime and held on to win.
