San Jose Sharks ‘Secret Santa’ video gives us Tomas Hertl joy

The San Jose Sharks are back with another holiday video!

The bar is set rather high after the undeniable genius of “Holiday Sweater” and “Slappy the Enchanted Holiday Elf” and players singing at a fake Christmas party and a Home Shopping Network spoof and all the rest of the hilariously weird shorts.

This time, they spoof the video style of ‘The Office’ in presenting a Secret Santa among players. And while some of them are amusing – like the gifts Joel Ward and Micheal Haley receive – this thing really hits a high note when Tommy Wingels and Tomas Hertl, a human Jigglypuff smiling after a whipped cream bath, do their exchange.

Major kudos to the Sharks video team for aping “The Office” documentary style. But we’re a little disappointed no one loved each other an iPod.
