Pescara demands 12m euros for Paris Saint-Germain target Verratti

Pescara are willing to sanction Marco Verratti's transfer to Paris Saint-Germain, providing the French side pay 12 million for his services.

After Juventus pulled out of the race to sign the Italy Under-21 international, Verratti has been strongly linked with a move to the Parc des Princes, but the fee appears to be somewhat of a stumbling block.

Speaking on Saturday, Delfini president Daniele Sebastiani vowed that he will not accept anything less than his asking price as the newly-promoted side refuse to be held to ransom by PSG.

"Paris Saint-Germain want Verratti, but we want 12m euros," the supremo told reporters. "If PSG offer 11.9m euros, we will not sell."

The Parisians are also nearing a deal for AC Milan duo Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva for a combined 65m, with agent Mino Raiola in Paris to discuss personal terms with sporting director Leonardo.
