Update: Gasol is out as a Lakers' starter, permanently, the Orange County Register reports.
Recommendation: Earl Clark is the new starting power forward for the Lakers. Coach Mike D'Antoni seemingly wants to put a smaller group on the floor to start the game, and utilize Gasol at center. Still, Gasol should see plenty of run, possibly approaching 30 minutes on a nightly basis.
