Miami center Reggie Johnson will be out of action for six weeks with a broken thumb, CBSSports.com reported Sunday. The 6-10 Johnson is averaging 12.6 points and 10.1 rebounds, so this is a significant loss for the Hurricanes, who were expected to challenge for one of the top spots in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Johnson sustained the injury during a recent practice. Miami is 8-3.
