Update: Green (chest) is close to reaching a deal with the Celtics, and it should be official next week, Gary Washburn of the Boston Globe reports.
Recommendation: Green missed all of last season after a surgery to correct an aortic aneurysm, but it looks like he'll finally get a deal done with Boston. The 25-year-old forward has averaged 13.9 points and 5.6 rebounds in 315 career NBA games.
