Goon: Last of the Enforcers is out in theatres this weekend in Canada and will hit the U.S. this summer. The follow up to the 2011 film features Doug Glatt (Seann William Scott) continuing his adventures in fisticuffs and facing a new foe in tough guy Anders Cain.

We recently had a chance to sit down and chat with director/writer Jay Baruchel during the Toronto premiere of the film. In part one he explained why he decided to make a Goon sequel. In part two he plays a little word association and discusses the rivalry between his beloved Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Maple Leafs.

If you haven’t already, be sure to check out last week’s Puck Soup Podcast featuring Seann William Scott a.k.a. Doug Glatt, the star of the Goon films.
