LONDON (AP) -- Kaori Icho of Japan has won her third consecutive Olympic wrestling gold - and 72 matches in a row - in the 63-kilogram freestyle division.
Icho beat Ruixue Jing of China 3-0, 2-0 to become the first Japanese woman to win the same event in three straight Olympics.
A forfeit at the 2007 Asian championships is the only blemish on Icho's resume since losing to American Sara McMann in 2003.
