The play happened at the 11:08 mark of the third period in the Bruins’ 2-0 home victory over the Stars on a faceoff when Miller caught McKenzie with a stick under the players’ visor.

McKenzie immediately dropped to the ice and clutched his face. Hen then got up and skated to the bench, his eye area bloodied by the play. Miller received a double-minor.

“It looks like his eye is OK, but he’s got a pretty serious cut that’s going to have to be closed up,” Stars coach Lindy Ruff said after the game.
