Update: Stoudemire (knee) will return to practice Tuesday and could see game action as early as the weekend, MSG Network reports.
Recommendation: Though Stoudemire will resume practicing, it will be with the team's D-League affiliate, where coach Mike Woodson says Stoudemire has the best opportunity to get extra reps. Woodson said that if Stoudemire's knee checks out fine during the workouts, he could return for either of the final two games on the team's six-game homestand. It's unclear if Stoudemire will slot into the starting lineup or assume a bench role upon returning.
