      <description>Tyler Sorrells passed for 272 yards and a career-high five touchdowns and Furman defeated Wofford 58-21 on Saturday in the season finale for both teams. Sorrells was 25-for-36 and threw scoring passes of 3, 13, 6, 6 and 29 for the Paladins (6-5, 5-3 Southern Conference). The five TDs were the most by a Furman quarterback since 1991.</description>

With 1,053 yards this season, Evans also became the first player in Samford history to rush for more than 1,000 yards in three straight seasons.]]></description>
