      <description> &lt;p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Western Michigan is 0-2 in games against Big Ten schools this season, losing on the road to Michigan and Indiana. But those defeats likely won't dull the Broncos' belief that they can win games against the dominant conference in its geographic footprint.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Broncos have had success against the Big Ten in recent games. They beat Illinois 23-17 last season and stopped Iowa 28-19 in 2007.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Though many of the players on this year's Western Michigan team participated in those games, coach Bill Cubit is making a point this week to remind them those results mean little when they travel to Michigan State on Nov. 7.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;"We're going through some growing pains where a lot of the young kids are learning the importance of every play," Cubit told the Kalamazoo (Mich.)
