The Cougars have provided little resistance for anyone this season, and Saturday figured to be no different, as an Oregon State team with visions of Rose Bowls in its head came to Pullman.

And while Washington State may have put up more of a fight for a little while than expected, ultimately it went exactly as thought, as the Beavers pulled away for a 42-10 win in front of just 16,167.

Oregon State led just 21-10 at halftime, due mostly to its own sloppy play—an interception killed one deep drive and penalties contributed to both of Washington State's scoring marches—and Washington State twice had the ball in the third quarter with a chance to cut the lead to one possession.
